Ingredients:
-
1 small onion diced
-
1 tomato diced
-
½ lb
ground beef
-
½ packet
taco seasoning (or homemade seasoning blend)
-
1 can crescent rolls
-
1 – 1 ½ cups shredded cheese (Mexican blend or
cheddar)
-
Taco toppings of your choice
Let’s get cooking:
-
Start off by browning your ground beef with
diced onion, once meat is cooked through drain off any fat that is in the pan
-
Next follow the directions on your taco
seasoning packet and add that to your meat and cook as normal (if you’re like
me throw in some extra cumin)
-
After your meat is done cooking stir in the
diced tomato (add as much as you like)
-
Now comes the decision either taco ring or
pockets?
-
If you choose taco ring then lay your crescent
rolls out in a circle with the corners of the large side touching
-
If you choose pockets then you will fill each
crescent individually you can either do them in triangles or cut them into
squares
-
Top with cheese and just fold the tops over
-
Bake at 375 until brown 15-20mins
