Mini monkey bread

Excuse the hello kitty plate those were for my niece who is a picky breakfast eater and loved them. There are so simple and easy to make.

Ingredients:
1 small can biscuits mine had 10 and was 7.5 oz
1/4 cup sugar
1 half cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
4 tablespoons melted butter

To assemble :
Cut your biscuits in to fourths
Have your butter in one bowl
Mix the dry ingredients in another small bowl

This was my little set up. Dip each biscuit piece in butter than roll in the sugar. Place in a greased muffin tin or mini muffin tin. I made 12 mini muffins with 3 pieces in each and then one regular size muffin with the left over pieces. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 13-15 mins or until no longer gooey.

Now these are perfect as is but if you to take over the top just a little you can make a glaze by mixing 1 cup of powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of milk together and topping after removing them from the oven. You could also use orange juice in place of milk and they would taste similar to orange cinnamon rolls.

I hope you enjoy these they make for a special breakfast or good anytime of the day as a snack or dessert.

Biscoff pie

This pie is like an inside out s'more. It is delicious and easy. If you have never heard of Biscoff spread it a type of spread similar to peanut butter but tastes just like graham crackers. It's also cookie butter from trader joes from what I have heard.

On to the recipe something I created feel free to change it.

What you will need:
A pre-made Oreo crust
1 8oz container cool whip thawed
1 8oz block cream cheese softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup biscoff spread (I bought mine at aldi)
2 cups heavy cream
Milk chocolate shavings
Graham cracker crumbs

Assembly time:
To make the filling put the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and biscoff in the bowl of your mixer and beat until light and fluffy. Next, gently fold in the cool whip by hand. Dump this mixture into your pie shell and smooth out. Now to make the whip cream some add sugar to their cream but this pie is really sweet so I just whipped heavy cream plan in my mixer and put it in a bag with a 1M tip and piped some stars around the top. Decorate the top with graham cracker crumbs and chocolate if you wish and stick in the fridge for at least 2 hours but I left mine in over night to set up fully.

I hope you all enjoy this recipe.
