On Saturdays I grocery shop so on Sundays is normal my prep day. Today I made banana bread muffins ( first picture) and a loaf of banana bread to freeze (recipe coming soon). I also prepped stuff for a breakfast parfait for during the week by washing and chopping some berries, making some homemade granola, and started some overnight oatmeal. I also normal make my biggest dinner on Sunday so I made crockpot honey sesame chicken. I will try and post on all my big prep days let me know if you see a recipe you would like to try.

Cheese straws
A southern staple at many showers and parties.
What you will need:
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese at room temperature
1 cup butter at room temperature
2 cups self rising flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Assembly time:
Cream together butter and cheese
Add the rest of the ingredients into the mixer and cream until smooth
Use a cookie press to shape dough onto a greased cookie sheet
Bake at 350 for 10-15 mins or lightly golden brown
